After college, I worked as a customer support representative at HubSpot for two years. During that time, I learned valuable lessons about responsibility, hard work, and the importance of solving problems for customers.<\/p>\n

Back in my day, we had a customer who was notorious among our support team. Let\u2019s call her Barb. Handling a support call with Barb was a rite of passage for our team. She was demanding and impatient and had a knack for scaring the pants off of new agents.<\/p>\n

I was terrified when the fateful day finally arrived for my first call with Barb. As expected, we got off to a rocky start, but by the end of the call, Barb was elated. Not just because I solved her issue but because she could feel that I really cared about helping her<\/a>.<\/p>\n
